Day 2 Steam Train and Bembridge

Day 3 Ventnor Gardens and The Needles
Only a short trip from the hotel lies Ventnor Botanic Gardens, situated in the remarkable microclimate at the heart of the famous ‘Undercliff.’ This unique garden is protected from the cold northerly winds by chalk down and is unrivalled for its collections of subtropical plants grown unprotected out of doors. Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring the gardens before hugging the coast to Alum Bay. From east to west across West Wight runs a chalk downland ridge that ends at the Needles, a row of three chalk stacks off the Isle of Wight's most westerly point. Day 4 Osborne House & Newport
Undoubtedly one of the most famous historical homes is on the Isle of Wight. Albert designed the house himself, in the style of an Italian Renaissance palazzo. Inside the house get an intimate glimpse into royal life as you explore private apartments and grand reception rooms lined with furnishings and artworks from the Royal Collection. Finish the day off in Newport, the island’s largest town which was recently voted in the top ten places to live in the UK.
