Yes, you can amend a booking at any time. Some amendments can be made online by logging in to 'my account'. Alternatively call our reservations team who can assist you. If you wish to amend your booking within 30 days of arrival, there may be cancellation charges, depending on the nature of the change
We cannot always guarantee requests, but most of the time they are provided. Special needs are catered for eg. dietary requirements, allergies, and access needs. We recommend you contact Classic directly to discuss any special requests and ensure any detail is clearly shown on your room list.
If you cancel your booking a cancellation fee will not be applied if done more than 30 days before arrival. Cancellations within the 30 day time frame may incur charges. On occasion, due to extraordinary circumstances like bad weather, then the hotel may overlook the late cancellation charge. To cancel online - please log in to 'my account' using your email address and password, view your booking details and click on the 'Cancel Booking' button. Or send us an email to confirm a cancellation. If you are unsure please give us a call. Often hotels will provide additional time to reach minimum numbers for the tour to operate. Refer to Classic's terms for more detail regarding individual room cancellations off a room list.
Yes, we will email you to let you know this is the case, and then send you our confirmation contract
Please let us know if your group will be a late arrival at time of booking, so we can inform the hotel for dining purposes. This can be added to the comments section when booking. If, for instance, you are delayed en route due to bad weather, ferry delays, traffic jams or breakdown, then call the hotel directly so the necessary preparations can be put in place. Alternatively call us and we will take care of it.

Yes, you can make a booking from anywhere in the world. Prices are quoted in pound sterling. Please make your booking in normal way.
We are fully staffed Monday - Friday 0900 - 1730 hrs, and partly staffed until 2000hrs and on a Saturday and Sunday between 0900 - 1700hrs. There is an emergency contact number available outwith these times.
In the unlikely event you are not happy with our reservations or web service then email our Travel Trade Director - If there is a certain element not up to par at the hotel, then it is important you notify the Management of the hotel right away, so they have the opportunity to resolve the matter. If you are still not happy, then you can either call our office, whilst at the hotel, or email or write to us when you get home.
Absolutely, we will not divulge any of your details to a third party. Please refer to our privacy policy.
Earliest check is 1500hrs if any earlier we cannot guarantee your rooms will be ready. Check out is by 1100hrs. If your group is arriving before 1500hrs and checking out later than 1100hrs, let us know as far in advance as possible. There may be an additional charge though.
Classic Britain will send you a proforma invoice in ample time for you to pay for your group by BACS or by cheque before your groups arrival date. Only in exceptional circumstances will we accept Credit Card payments. If a credit card is used then there will be an Administration Fee added.
Due to changes in the law, hotel rooms are now non-smoking. Some hotels (but not all) have a smoking area set aside outside the hotel for the use of smokers. Please note that hotels may penalise anyone smoking in a non smoking area of the hotel. Same rules apply for vapes & e-cigarettes.

You can make a booking right up to the last minute. For group bookings within 72 hours of arrival, we strongly advise you call or email us.
