During the day, everything is taken care of with 3 distinctly different tours arranged. From a city visit to Maritime Plymouth, to exploring miles of Devon's coastline visiting seaside resorts & a thatched village along the way. We explore the Saxon village of Totnes before visiting the serenity of Buckfast Abbey on the edge of Dartmoor. The English Riviera is not only one of the UK’s top holiday areas but also is blessed with a mild climate even in the out of season months.

Full Day: Maritime Plymouth
Today visit the ocean city of Plymouth. There is plenty to explore in this maritime port including some fascinating sites dating back to the 15th century, such as the famous Mayflower steps where the Pilgrims set sail in 1620. Or, take a journey through time and visit the fascinating history in the Mayflower Museum. Other locations include the old Barbican with its narrow winding streets. There are some lovely walks along Plymouth's waterfront up to Smeatons Tower lighthouse. (62 miles)
Half Day: Torbay & A Thatched Village
After breakfast join your coach for a short but interesting drive along the coastline stopping in Torquay for a short while where you can stroll along the promenade, a place where Agatha Christie once roller skated. Before returning to Paignton stop for photos in the picturesque & historical thatched village of Cockington. Back to the hotel around lunchtime for free time to see the sights of Paignton which is nice and flat - no big hills here! Before returning to the hotel in time for a well earned Afternoon Cream Tea.
Full Day: Brixham, Totnes & Buckfast Abbey
A lovely day awaits as we leave Paignton heading along the coast to the pretty working fishing town of Brixham. Turning north we stop for a while in quaint and historic Totnes. From the towns Saxon beginnings, Totnes has a recognised reputation for its many notable buildings and monuments, and is overlooked by Totnes Castle. Further on and located at the centre of a picturesque valley on the edge of Dartmoor National Park is Buckfast Abbey, home to a community of Benedictine Monks. A Guided Tour has been arranged around this working Abbey and it is a wonderful peaceful place to visit. We return via Berry Pomery Castle completing a delightful 36 mile circular tour.
