Day 1: York
York needs no introduction. It is without doubt one of the most enthralling walled cities in the UK. It's like stepping back into medieval times, with its winding cobbled streets, magnificent 10th-century Minster, classic shop fronts on the Shambles, and dramatic stone walls surrounding the city. It's a delight to simply walk around and is also packed with things to do, such as visiting The National Rail Museum, Jorvik Viking Centre, York's Castle Museum, and if you like the sweeter things in life, then there's York's Chocolate Trail.
Day 2: Harrogate & Harewood House
Harrogate is a classic English spa town with quaint streets, historic monuments and beautiful gardens. Free day to take in the sights. The hotel is in the heart of the town.
Day 3: Yorkshire Dales & Brewery Tour
Before we reach Masham, take the slight detour to drive through the cathedral city of Ripon. In Masham arranged is a guided tour and tasting at the Black Sheep Brewery, one of Yorkshire's most well-known beer brands. The tour takes about 1 hour, finishing at the bar with a beer tasting of some of Black Sheep’s award-winning brews. Afterwards, we take a 20-mile or so drive through glorious Yorkshire Dales countryside, along the shoreline of Gouthwaite Reservoir and passing through the Dales villages of Ramsgill, Lofthouse and Pateley Bridge.
