Day 2: Exmouth and Paignton
On our way to Exmouth, a short stop in the pretty thatched village of Cockington for photos before heading through the historical Devon town of Newton Abbot, arriving in Exmouth to board the 90-minute cream tea cruise. Cruise along the calm and protected waters of the nationally renowned River Exe, whilst enjoying a delicious Devon cream tea, with oodles of cream and lashings of strawberry jam. Enjoy free time in Paignton before enjoying traditional fish and chips to top off a traditional day by the coast.
Day 3: Plymouth
Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring Plymouth with its narrow-cobbled streets and historic harbour. Dating back to the 1400s is Black Friars. One of the oldest buildings in Plymouth is now home to Plymouth’s very own gin distilleries. Enjoy a tour of the distillery along with a tutored tasting for the final taste of delicious Devon.
Day 4: Vineyard Tour
Travel through the heart of the Dartmoor National Park to Alder Vineyard. Discover the mud, sweat and laughter that goes into growing grapes at the foot of Dartmoor. Enjoy a tour of the vineyard and sample the fruits of their labour. Afterwards, head to the coast, stopping in historic Liskeard and onto Looe to finish the day with a delicious ice cream.
